Right-click the message. Click Mark as Read or Mark as Unread. To mark several messages as either read or unread at once, click the first message, hold down Ctrl, click the other messages, and then select the option you want.
Highlight the word you want to link by either double-clicking on it or using your mouse to click on the word and drag over it. Click on the Insert Link button on the Compose Post toolbar (it. looks like a chain link). Type in the URL you want your graphic to link to and click OK.
In the message, select the text or picture that you want to display as the link. On the Insert tab, click Link or Hyperlink. Under Link to, click E-mail Address. If you don't specify a tip, Outlook uses “mail to” followed by the email address and the subject line as the tip.
