Account Home — Click on the Azure DevOps icon in the upper left corner. Organization Settings — Click on this link in the lower left corner. Process — Click on Process in Boards Group in the list of settings. Select your process. Select the Work Item Type you want to add the new state to.
To run the wit admin command-line tool, open a Command Prompt window where Visual Studio is installed. The wit admin command-line tool installs with any version of Visual Studio. You can access this tool by installing the free version of Visual Studio Community or Visual Studio Team Explorer.
Install the required tools. Read a local directory for your extension. Create an extension manifest file and hub contribution. Package and publish your extension to the Marketplace. Test your extension in an organization.
Open the extensions menu and choose Browse Marketplace. Find the extension that you want to install. Select the extension and choose Get or Get it free. Select the project collection where you want to install this extension and choose To install.
Select the sign-up link for Azure DevOps, Start free with GitHub. Select Sign in with GitHub. Enter your GitHub account credentials, and then select Sign in. Select Authorize Microsoft Corporation. To get started with Azure DevOps, select Continue.
