Download the basic Simple Invoice Template in PDF, Word or Excel format. Open the new invoice doc in Word or Excel. Add your business information and branding, including your business name and logo. Customize the fields in the template to create your invoice. Name your invoice. Save
From the Lists menu, choose Item List. Right-click anywhere and select New. In the TYPE drop-down lists, select Payment. Enter the name of the item and select a payment method. Click OK.
Click on the invoice in question. Click Enter payment Enter the payment amount your customer has paid. Click save Your invoice status will then be changed to Partial.
Click the Plus icon. Choose To receive Payment. Enter the customer name. Select the invoice by putting a check mark. On the Payment column, enter the partial payment amount (see screenshot). Click Save and close.
A partial payment is when the client pays part of an invoice. This feature enables your clients to pay their invoice in partial increments, rather than as a one-time transaction. You can then send the invoice to the client, requesting the partial amount due.
First, go to transactions and then select add transaction. Enter the partial payment date and under notes or description, enter the necessary information to indicate that it is a partial payment. Input the amount and then select a category by clicking it. Click on income and then save.
You can make a partial payment by changing the amount of the bill in the “Amt To Pay” column. Click the “Go To Bill” button on the Pay Bills window to review or edit the details of the bill. Click the “Set Discount” or “Set Credits” button to apply vendor discounts or credits to the bill.
