It was a little slow at the beginning…

Where can I get a wood cutting permit?
Where to Get a Woodcutting Permit. Before you collect any firewood you are required to obtain a firewood cutting permit. Permits are available at Forest Service offices and at some seasonal offices during the summer.
How much does a firewood permit cost?
A permit is good for gathering firewood from the time of purchase through the termination date stated on the permit. Firewood permits are non-refundable and nontransferable. The cost for firewood is $10 per cord with a two cord minimum.
Where can I buy a firewood permit?
Permits are available at most ranger district offices. Please make sure you contact the district office to confirm permit availability, as it can vary depending on the district, the availability of wood and the type of permit.
Do you need a permit to cut firewood?
Permits are no longer required to collect firewood for domestic use from State forests and those parks where collection is allowed.
How much is a tree cutting permit?
Permits cost between $5 to $20 and families are allowed to cut usually between three and five trees maximum.
Where can I buy a wood cutting permit in Idaho?
Permits will be available at USDA Forest Service Ranger District offices and several private vendors in South Central Idaho. Some firewood cutting areas may be not immediately accessible due to snowdrifts or road conditions.
How much is a wood cutting permit in Oregon?
Permit Fees Fee $20 for up to 2 cords of wood. Only one permit at a time will be issued per person or household. The license plate number of the vehicle transporting firewood is required. You can only purchase a permit for yourself.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree?
In most cases you will probably need a permit to remove a native tree. The height of the tree will be taken into consideration when applying for a permit, If under 3 m* in height, you may not need a permit. If the tree or vegetation is less than a certain distance from your house, you may not need a permit to remove it.
