Cut Signature Contract: simplify online document editing with pdfFiller

The PDF is a widely used file format used for business records because you can access them from any device. You can open it on any computer or phone running any OS — it'll appear same for all of them.

Security is one of the primary reasons users in business choose PDF files to share and store data. PDF files are not only password-protected, but analytics provided by an editing service allows document owners to identify those who’ve accessed their documents and track any and all potential breaches in security.

pdfFiller is an online editor that allows you to create, edit, sign, and send your PDFs directly from your browser tab. Convert an MS Word file or a Google Sheet and start editing it and create fillable fields to make it a singable document. Forward it to others by email, fax or via sharing link, and get notified when someone opens and completes it.

Use powerful editing features to type in text, annotate and highlight. Once a document is completed, download it to your device or save it to the third-party integration cloud. Add and edit visual content. Ask other people to complete the document and request an attachment. Add fillable fields and send documents for signing. Change a document’s page order.

Get your documents completed in four simple steps:

01
Browse for your document from the pdfFiller's uploader.
02
Proceed to editing features by clicking the Tools tab. Now you can change the document's content or add a new one.
03
Insert additional fields to fill in specific data and put an e-signature in the document.
04
When finished, click Done and proceed to downloading, sending or printing your document.

The term “counterpart” is used in legal documents to describe a copy of a contract which is signed and is considered legally binding, in the same way as the original. In many cases, several copies of a contract document are prepared, so that all parties and signatories can have a copy of the contract.
A scanned signature is binding so long as it's a signature to show acceptance. Given the fact then at agreement may be made in writing, save as for sales of land then if the signature is enough to show acceptance then it is binding.
Also called a digital signature, it is any way of signing a non-printed document. ... However, it should be mentioned that an electronic signature doesn't necessarily mean legally binding because it refers to any online signature, which can include a copy-paste of your own signature.
As long as it's correctly done, courts have upheld that imaging and scanning are just as legally binding as paper documents. Legal acceptability of scanned document images depends on the process used to create the documents.
Traditionally, signatures are in cursive, but it can be argued that it's not a requirement. ... This means that with a wet signature (i.e. a signature that is written rather than electronically typed), a person could potentially use their printed (non-cursive) name or even a symbol like a happy face as a valid signature.
It's valid because both parties signed, not because both (or all) parties have a copy of it. ... One exception, as I mentioned above, is if the document or related law requires that signed copies be provided to all parties.
The answer is yes. It is important to be aware that when agreeing to a written contract, it does not need to be signed by both parties to be legally binding. ... This case highlights that even if a contract says it has to be signed to be binding, if it is unsigned it may still have a legally binding effect.

Barry F Gutenberg. If it is signed by the “party to be charged” i.e., the potential defendant, the signature of the one party is usually enough. Also, only certain types of contracts must be written to be enforceable. If the subject of the agreement is one for which...
Each party should have an original executed copy of the contract for their files. In other words, if there are two parties to the contract, you have to execute two identical contracts. One copy goes to you, one copy goes to the other party. Each copy constitutes an original contract.
