For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Enable the sheet you want to remove conditional formatting rules but keep format, and press Alt + F11 keys to open Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications window. 2 Click Insert > Module, and paste below VBA to the Module script. See screenshot: VBA: Remove conditional formatting rules but keep format.
Select the cells and tap Ctrl+1. When the Format Cells dialog opens, go to the Number tab and select Custom from the list down the left.
Select the cells that contain the 0s you want to hide. Click the Home tab and then click the Conditional Formatting option in the Styles group. In the top pane, select the Format Only Cells That Contain option. From the second dropdown, choose Equal To. Enter 0 in the third control. Click Format.
Conditional formatting cannot hide rows or change the rows' height. If you want to hide rows fully automatically, you need VBA. As an alternative, you could “hide” the contents of rows by setting the number format to ... (three consecutive semicolons) in conditional formatting.
In Excel, there is no direct method to remove conditional formatting except VBA. 1. Enable the sheet you want to remove conditional formatting rules but keep format, and press Alt + F11 keys to open Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications window. 2 Click Insert > Module, and paste below VBA to the Module script.
First Open Find & Replace Dialog. In Replace Tab, make all those cells containing NULL values with Blank. Press F5 and select the blank option. The Right Click on active Sheet and select delete rows. It will delete all those rows based on cell value of containing word NULL.
Simply select the cells you want to convert to explicit formatting, then run the procedure. It checks each cell you selected for which formatting condition is active, determines the formatting of that condition, and then applies it to the cell. Finally, the conditional formatting for the cell is removed.
