What do you like best? pdfFiller gives me the tools to customize forms specific to our office and our industry. I also love the ability to create templates for new documents that I design in-house. This cuts down on costs because these templates do not have to outsourced. It is all right there at my finger tips. One additional bonus specifically for me: everyone in our office knows my handwriting is difficult to translate. To obtain a transcript from a California public school, you will need to contact the school directly. If the school is closed, we suggest contacting the local school district or the County Office of Education for assistance. Contact information for these entities may be obtained from the California School Directory.
If the school has closed, visit the department of higher education in the state in which the college you attended was located. There should be a link to request transcripts from closed schools.
If you owe money directly to your college, it can hold your official transcripts hostage until you pay the debt. Many employers require an official transcript, as well. Colleges routinely refuse to release transcripts until their former students pay in full all debts directly owed to the colleges.
Typically the defunct institution will transfer its records to another institution (usually one nearby or one with whom it had some sort of relationship), who will take custody of them and produce certifications of attendance and of graduation and similar such records for former students as needed.
Students who attended any other Private Licensed School that has closed can obtain academic records from the school's records repository. The repository for your school's records can be found in the Closed School Records list (PDF).
The Texas Workforce Commission Career Schools and Colleges Division (TWC) may be able to assist students who wish to obtain transcripts from closed non-degree-granting career, business, or technical schools. TWC can be contacted at (512) 936-3100.
