Open the Settings' application by tapping the "Settings" icon on your iPhone's home screen. Tap the "Messages" row to open the Messages screen. Tap the switch next to "iMessage" so that it reads “Off." Your iPhone will now send all messages in text message format instead of using the iMessage service.
iMessage is located in the default messages app on your iPhone. This app is capable of sending both iMessage and SMS messages. messages are in blue and text messages are green. If you are using an iPhone and you send a message to a friend on Android, it will be sent as an SMS message and will be green.
SMS stands for Short Message Service and is the most widely used type of text messaging. With an SMS, you can send a message of up to 160 characters to another device. MMS stands for Multimedia Messaging Service. With an MMS, you can send a message including pictures, video or audio content to another device.
Step 1: Install Log Me. Step 2: Enter the number of the person you want your fake call or message from in the text area labeled Caller ID. Step 3: Give a name for the person contacting you. Step 4: Select your trigger. Step 5: Set up your fake call or SMS. To receive a fake call: To receive a fake text:
Toggle iMessage Off and On If that didn't do the trick, try signing out of iMessage and then signing back in with your Apple ID. Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID and choose Sign Out.
Sign Out Of iMessage and Sign Back In Head back to Settings → Messages and tap to open 'Send & Receive'. Next, tap where it says 'Apple ID: (your Apple ID)' and choose 'Sign Out'. Sign back in using your Apple ID and try sending an iMessage to one of your friends with an iPhone.
The reason you're not able to send to non-iPhone users is that they don't use iMessage. It sounds like your regular (or SMS) text messaging isn't working, and all your messages are going out as messages to other iPhones. When you try to send a message to another phone that doesn't use iMessage, it won't go through.
Go to Settings > Messages and turn iMessage off, then back on. Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out. On your iPhone first, sign back in to iMessage and FaceTime. Sign back in to iMessage and Facetime on your other devices.
When pressing the button it says you need to enable iMessage. The contacts are configured with an actual mobile phone number and SMS messaging works for other contacts configured in the same way. When iMessage is enabled, sending messages to them works fine.
But if you'd like to send Text Messages to a single contact, you have a couple options. Disable iMessage when messaging your contact, then re-enable it when your conversation is over, or you'd like to use iMessage again. To do this, visit Settings > Messages, then toggle off iMessage.
A green background means that the message is being exchanged with a non-iOS device (Android, Windows phone and so on) and was delivered via SMS through your mobile provider. A green background can also mean that a text message sent from an iOS device could not be sent via iMessage for some reason.
If your iPhone messages are green, it means that they're being sent as SMS text messages rather than as messages, which appear in blue. iMessages only work between Apple users. You'll always see green when writing to Android users, or when you're not connected to the internet.
iMessage default color is blue. But If you send an iMessage to a friend, and it shows blue and after a few minutes message turns in to green, and you never get any delivered report, Then he might have blocked you. You can send a few iMessage and check it. If the same thing happens, you have been blocked by him.
