Get a direct deposit form from your employer. Ask for a written or online direct deposit form. Fill in account information. Confirm the deposit amount. Attach a voided check or deposit slip, if required. Submit the form.
Your employer, or whoever is paying money into your account, will need the following bank details: Your sort code. Your account number.
Sign in to Online Banking and download a prefilled direct deposit form. Choose your preferred language and download a blank direct deposit form. Locate my account and routing number.
Get a direct deposit form from your employer Ask for a written or online direct deposit form. If that isn't available, ask your bank or credit union for one. We've included a list of forms from top banks, including the Capital One and Bank of America direct deposit forms.
If you receive your benefit by direct deposit (also known as electronic funds transfer), you will note that your bank's routing number, your bank account number and the type of account are also listed on the statement.
