Unclear as to whether or not I can save multiple versions of the fillable form for future editing, which I assume, but it's not intuitive, otherwise I would have rated 5.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
To calculate the bending moment, the magnitude of the force is multiplied by the distance of the force from the point of support.
The bending stress () is defined by Equation 1.5. M is the bending moment, which is calculated by multiplying a force by the distance between that point of interest and the force. C is the distance from the neutral axis (N.A. in Figure 1.5) and I is the moment of inertia.
Calculate BM: M = For (Perpendicular to the force) Bending moment is a torque applied to each side of the beam if it was cut in two — anywhere along its length. The hinge applies a clockwise (+) moment (torque) to the RHS, and a counter-clockwise (-) moment to the LHS.
Bending moments occur mostly in flexural members which include beams. Bending moments can be calculated for different sections of a beam. The bending moment at a section through a structural element may be defined as the sum of the moments about that section of all external forces acting to one side of that section.
Shear force is the internal force on a member when the force is not applied at the axis. Shearing force is the force divided by the cross-sectional area. Bending moment is the force trying to rotate the member. Moment is the perpendicular distance from the force to the axis multiplied by the force.
Explanation: The maximum bending moment occurs in a beam, when the shear force at that section is zero or changes the sign because at point of contra Fleur the bending moment is zero. ... Such bending moment is called a sagging bending moment or positive bending moment.
A bending moment is the reaction induced in a structural element when an external force or moment is applied to the element causing the element to bend. The most common or simplest structural element subjected to bending moments is the beam. The diagram shows a beam which is simply supported at both ends.
Calculate BM: M = For (Perpendicular to the force) In equilibrium, so MA = 0 But to find the Bending Moment, you must cut the beam in two. Bending moment is INTERNAL, moment is EXTERNAL. A good way to double-check is to do moments for BOTH sides and compare. In engineering, we are concerned with the MAXIMUM BM.
In applied mechanics, bending (also known as Fleur) characterizes the behavior of a slender structural element subjected to an external load applied perpendicularly to a longitudinal axis of the element. ... When the length is considerably longer than the width and the thickness, the element is called a beam.
In a cantilever beam, shear force at any section is equal to the sum of the loads between the sections and the free end. Bending moment at a given section is equal to the sum of the moments about the section of all the loads between the section and the free end of the cantilever.
