The service works well and is very convenient, however I was disappointed by the way I was able to complete an entire form but was not advised it was not free until the form was completed after spending a couple hours working on it. Since this is a pay service, the consumer should be advised immediately upon accessing any forms on an internet search. In order to preserve my work, I had no choice but to subscribe. Perhaps you should market a new service that charges by the document. I would have gladly paid for that up front. The service itself works very well.

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
How Do Mechanical Seals Work? At the heart of why a mechanical seal works lies the rotating and stationary seal faces. Seal faces are lapped so flat it is impossible for a liquid or gas to flow through them. This allows for a shaft to spin, while a seal is being maintained mechanically.
They are used in various applications ranging from automobiles, ships, rockets and industrial plant equipment, to residential devices. Mechanical seals are intended to prevent the fluid (water or oil) used by a machine from leaking to the external environment (the atmosphere or a body of water).
A mechanical seal works by having two very flat (generally within 2-3 light bands flat) lapped flat faces. This allows a shaft to turn while maintaining a seal. It is very difficult for leakage to occur (beyond a vapor) if installed properly and in good condition.
The function of the oil seal is to stop whatever fluid is inside from leaking out the clearance between the shaft and housing. The seal may also be used to prevent outside materials, such as dirt, from moving in through the clearance.
The purpose of a mechanical seal is to prevent leakage, but all seals leak to some controlled degree. However, it is important to note that this minimal leakage can be so restricted that specific designs are capable of adequately meeting all emission requirements. Seal failure is defined as excessive leakage.
The leak can be caused by a damaged rubber part, or damage on the surface where the elastomer seals. In some instances the elastomer is not seated properly. It twisted because of either poor installation, excessive shaft movement, or high pressure extrusion.
The most common cause of pump downtime is a mechanical seal failure. 1) Letting the pump or machine run dry: A mechanical seal can easily leak or become damaged if you let your pump or machine run dry. If the seals run dry, the friction will cause heat to accumulate, and cause damage — causing thermal shock.
On the back side of the “seal head” (the end which fits towards the “spring”), measure the inside diameter. This will determine the seal size diameter — which is either the shaft size or the sleeve size that the seal fits over. The front side of the seal usually has a black carbon face.
