It was really easy to fill out the forms and print them. Normally, I wouldn't spend money for this type of service, as I can just print the PDF document from the internet. This time, however, I just didn't want to have to write all the information. Also, if I wanted to make changes, I loved that I could change any field and not have to write over it (as I would have otherwise).

Double-click on the Displaying executable, e.g. DisplayLink_RX. Click Yes. The System Compatibility Check then runs. Click Install (if the System Compatibility Check passes). Connect your Displaying enabled device.
Check the Displaying device does not appear under “Other devices”. Unplug all cables from the device, then reconnect power (if needed) then the USB cable. Check the USB port with another device to make sure other devices are recognized.
Check the device is recognized on the USB bus. If your device does not work, the first thing to check is that the Displaying device has been detected by Windows. This can be done by checking that the Displaying device appears in Windows device manager. Right-click on the Windows Start button.
From the taskbar, click the Show hidden icons arrow to show all available icons. Click the Displaying icon: or. A menu appears with several options. Choose “Notebook Monitor Off” from the device submenu.
Displaying software installs and acts like a normal display on the host. It detects monitors connected through a Displaying device and presents them to the operating system (for example Windows) as if they were normally attached monitors.
Download and install the latest Displaying driver from Dell Drivers & Downloads page. Follow the screen instructions until the installation is complete. Restart the PC. Connect all the external devices to the docking station. Connect the docking station to your PC.
