How do I determine the distribution of my data?
Choose Stat > Quality Tools > Individual Distribution Identification. Specify the column of data to analyze and the distribution to check it against. Click OK.
How do you find the distribution?
Step 1: Convert all the percentages to decimal probabilities. For example: Step 2: Construct a probability distribution table. Step 3: Multiply the values in each column. Step 4: Add the results from step 3 together.
How do you determine if data is normally distributed?
Look at a histogram with the normal curve superimposed. A histogram provides useful graphical representation of the data. Look at the values of Skewness. Look at established tests for normality that take into account both Skewness and Kurtis simultaneously. Look at normality plots of the data.
