PDFfiller for the win!! PDFfiller for the win!! Of course, I've enjoyed avoiding filling out forms by hand and being able to create & save legible documents I can duplicate and email. But tonight, PDFfiller LiveChat surprised me! They helped solve a document problem for my daughter's online university application. The application program wouldn't let her upload her SAT scores, or continue her application until they were loaded! The website kept saying the 2-page file was too big!? So I loaded it onto PDFfiller, and got a helpful LiveChat rep, who quickly compressed the file for me. Voila, it worked!! PDFfiller, you just saved the day!

Perfect for paperwork My overall experience would be that I love it and plan to continue using it going forward in life. It's much easier then printing out paperwork, filling it out, scanning it and sending it back to whomever. Its extremely convenient. I love most that I'm able to edit any pdf and the save and and either email it or print it. There's even a function to sign the pdf right on the computer. Awesome. I do not like that it sometime freezes. I could be filling out a form and sometimes it'll freeze and automatically refresh and everything I put in is gone so I'd have to start over. It doesn't happen often but has happened to me before.

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) took effect on January 1, 2020. It gives consumers in that state added rights regarding their personal data. Businesses face various obligations in order to comply.
Know what personal data is being collected about them. Know whether their personal data is sold or disclosed and to whom. Say no to the sale of personal data. Access their personal data. Request a business to delete any personal information about a consumer collected from that consumer.
Know Your Obligation to the CCPA. Map Consumer Data. Update Privacy Disclosures. Create a Homepage Privacy Link. Develop a Process for Handling Consumer Requests. Identify and Implement System Changes. Train Employees. Strengthen Data Security.
That's thanks to the California Consumer Privacy Act, which went into effect on Wednesday, Jan. 1, and deals with how large companies are allowed to collect and use data of California residents. It gives California consumers the ability to request personal data be deleted from a given company, among other protections.
The law applies to any business that has more than $25 million in revenue, or buys or sells the personal information of 50,000 or more consumers, or derives 50 percent or more of its annual revenue from selling consumers' personal information, and that does any amount of business in the State of California.
The law applies to any company that meets any one of three thresholds annually: It has at least $25 million in revenue, makes at least half its money by selling data or gathers information on at least 50,000 consumers.
CCPA essentially applies to any for-profit entity doing business in California that collects, shares, or sells California consumers' personal data, and: Has annual gross revenues in excess of $25 million; or. Possesses the personal information of 50,000 or more consumers, households, or devices; or.
California's Privacy Law Goes Into Effect Today. Passed unanimously in June 2018, it's the first law in the US to set up a comprehensive set of rules around consumer data, akin to the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR.
