DOCX Software Put: full-featured PDF editor

The Portable Document Format or PDF is one of the most common document format for numerous reasons. PDFs are accessible from any device to share files between devices with different screens and settings. You can open it on any computer or phone — it will appear exactly the same.

The next reason is data safety: PDF files are easy to encrypt, so it's risk-free to share any sensitive data in them from person to person. That’s why it’s important to get a secure editing tool, especially when working online. When using an online solution to store documents, it's possible to track a view history to find out who had access to the file before.

pdfFiller is an online document management and editing tool that lets you create, modify, sign, and send your PDFs using one browser tab. Thanks to the integrations with the popular CRM systems, you can upload a data from any system and continue where you left off. Forward it to others by fax, email or via sharing link, and get notified when someone opens and completes it.

Use editing tools to type in text, annotate and highlight. Add images to your PDF and edit its appearance. Change a page order. Add fillable fields and send to sign. Collaborate with others to fill out the document and request an attachment. Once a document is completed, download it to your device or save it to cloud.

Complete any document with pdfFiller in four steps:

01
Get started by uploading your document.
02
To modify the content of your document, click the 'Tools' tab and highlight, redact, or erase text.
03
Add input fields if you need any: pdfFiller supports text, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdown lists etc.
04
Finish editing by clicking Done and choose what you want to do next with this PDF: save it to computer, print or send via email, fax and sharing link.

A DOCX file is a document created by Microsoft Word or another word processing program, such as OpenOffice Writer or Apple Pages. It contains formatted text but may also include images, drawn objects, and other document elements.
A file with the DOCX file extension is a Microsoft Word Open XML Format Document file. DOCX files are used for everything from resumes and cover letters to reports, flyers, documentation, invitations, newsletters, and more.
Microsoft Word (version 2007 and above) is the primary software program used to open and edit DOCX files. If you have an earlier version of Microsoft Word, you can download the free Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack to open, edit, and save DOCX files in your older version of MS Word.
DOC is a document format used by Microsoft Word, while DOCX is its successor. Both are relatively open, but DOCX is more efficient and creates smaller, less corruptible files. If given the choice, use DOCX. DOC is only necessary if the file will be used by pre-2007 versions of Word.

If you don't have Word installed, or your version of Word is older than 2000, you can still open and print a DOCX file using the Word viewer in addition to the Compatibility Pack. You must have both the Microsoft Word reader and the compatibility pack installed to open DOCX files.
