I like to use PDF filler.com because I can fill the entire form on the computer, except the places where I need to sign it. Also, it has an option to fill the form on the computer or print it out with blank spaces which I can fill it out manually with a pen. Finally, I only pay for the program as long as my subscription is active.
I've tried other programs to convert pdf files and it didn't work. At least you were able to convert from pdf to a document I needed to type and enter information on before submission. It's very easy to upload documents and complete the forms. We use it for all of our documents.
I sometimes have trouble with my signature loading. My printed signature always loads but my written one does not always load. I'm not sure what causes the signature failure but it is sometimes a problem.

How many times do you need to modify a document, or wish it said something different, but don't have an editable version. With PDFfiller you can erase the verbiage, and replace it with something else. You can also easily place your signature on documents too. You can upload you own personal signature too.
