I have only been using PDFfiller for a couple of months but it has been a godsend. My son has 3 different court cases going and that is a ton of forms that need to be filled out every time he needs to file or respond. PDFfiller makes the process extremely easy. All I do is search the form, add it to my profile and then fill it out. It retains ALL the information and adds it to the next page so that I am not having to repeat the same information over and over. This is all I have used it for but am looking forward to what other features I will be able to use in the future.

Easy and time saving I use it to fill out government and medical forms for personal reasons. It could be used for any form you might need to complete. It's very easy to use and has tons of forms available. You can upload unique forms and it works great on those too. I have had some issues finding forms I've completed.

As World War II progresses, the draft age is lowered to 18 and men are called to service not by lottery number but by age, with the oldest going first.
The Selective Service Act of 1948, enacted in June of that year, created a new and separate system, the basis for the modern system. All men 18 years and older had to register with Selective Service. All men between the ages of 18 to 26 were eligible to be drafted for a service requirement of 21 months.
The Selective Training and Service Act of 1940 required men ages 18 to 64 to register. The Selective Training and Service Act of 1940 required men ages 18 to 64 to register. Yet eight years later the age range was 19 to 26. In 1967 the age range was expanded to include 18-35 year olds.
Next up would be: 21, 22, 23, 24-year-olds. Then, the 18 and 19-year-olds. And finally the draft would apply to 25 and 26-year-olds. But if the student is in their senior year of undergraduate studies at the time they're drafted, they'd be allowed to finish and graduate no matter which semester they're in.
Ordained ministers and men with physical disabilities, for example, must register. However, if called for draft examination they would be exempted from service. Conscientious objectors also are exempt from military training and service, but the law does not necessarily exempt them from being drafted.
It is very important for young men to register for the draft within 30 days of their 18th birthday. For this reason, you may want to put a reminder on your calendar to be sure the application is filled out on time. Or begin the process early while he is still 17.
Known as the Old Man's Draft because it targeted men 45-64 years of age, the registration officially took place on April 27, 1942, at local draft boards around the country. It was intended to provide the government with a register of manpower, men who might be eligible for national service.
Conscription during the 1960s took place under the legal authority of the peacetime draft, because the United States never formally declared war on North Vietnam.
