Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
You'll notice that if you activate the header/footer view (for example by double-clicking the header), the main body of the document will be "washed out" instead. Headers and footers will look correctly in Print Preview (Backstage view), which you can activate by pressing Ctrl+F2, or in Full Screen Reading view.

In the view menu, look at the footers and headers. Then choose the option for page setup. On the last tab, you can choose to make your first page different, which means only that page will show the header/footer, or you can opt to have it be on each page.
Go to the Design tab. Click Customize to expand the set of choices for customizing your theme. Click Header Image to choose an image to be the background of the header. Click Header background to choose a color for the header section.
Click the "Home" tab. Right-click the heading style that you want to modify in the Styles section and select Modify to open the Modify Style dialog box. Make any desired changes to the font style, font size, or color of the heading in the Formatting section. You can also apply bold, italics, and underline effects.
When using the Header/Footer option it appears normal when you are typing it. When you return to the body of the document the Header and Footer looks as if they are faded or screened back some. This is intentional on the screen view so you know it is the Header and Footer. It will print perfectly normal.
