The rule of thumb for all cruise lines is that one person must remain in a booking at all times. That is to say you can't call one day and change one name and call back tomorrow to change the other.
Can I transfer my reservation to a travel advisor if I purchased my cruise directly from Royal Caribbean? Bookings may only be transferred to a Travel Advisor up until 60 days from creation if the request is made outside of Final Payment period and the booking is not paid in full.
”A name change fee of $50.00 per name change will apply for any name change made between 75 – 16 days prior to sailing. A change fee of $100.00 per name changed will apply for any name changes made between 15 days or less prior to sailing.”
A name change is the cancellation of one guest and the addition of a new guest on a booking. For bookings that do not include airfare booked through Carnival, and not booked under a restricted/non-refundable fare×, there is no charge for a name change.
Carnival says it'll cost $173 to make change.
Online Check-in can be accessed within 90 days of the departure and no later than midnight (eastern time) prior to the sailing date. To complete the Online Check-in, guests must click on Manage My Booking at www.carnival.com/Onlinecheckin and create an account, entering their Carnival booking number, last name, date of
Embarkation and Departure. Guests must select their Arrival Appointment and complete their Online Check-in process no later than midnight (eastern time) prior to their sailing date. Please arrive promptly within your Arrival Appointment to reduce your wait time in line.
On cruise day, be sure you're at the terminal no later than an hour before the sail time. At this time, you should have your passport or other identification, your printed boarding passes and your bags (with your cruise tags). The first step is to drop your bags with the baggage handlers at the port.

From E-Document, you may print your boarding pass and luggage tags. You may also 'Print Documents' from 'My Cruise Manager' page; here you can print luggage tags, boarding passes and general information such as the booking summary, invoice, purchased services and travel notes.
Go to https://www.carnival.com/BookedGuest/ or select 'Manage My Booking'. Create an account if you have not done so already. You will need to provide your Carnival booking number (or cabin level booking number for Group guests-IBR), guest last name, date of birth, ship name and sail date.
ONLINE CHECK-IN After you've made your final payment for your cruise, you are requested to go online to submit all your travel documentation as well as secure your boarding passes. This will save you quite a bit of time at check-in when you arrive at the pier.
According to Carnival, passengers who arrive early will be turned away from the terminal if they arrive before their scheduled departure time. They will be asked to return during their specified boarding window.
Guests should arrive to the port no later than 60 minutes prior to the published sail time. Guests should adhere to the published check-in windows, where applicable, that can be found in their E-docs (electronic documents) or during general boarding which depends on the ship's sail time.
