To format tables in Word by applying a table style, click into the table to format. Click the Design tab in the Table Tools contextual tab in the Ribbon. Then scroll through the list of styles in the Table Styles button group. Then click a style to apply it to the table.
Place cursor in any cell of the table. Go to Design tab > In Table Styles section click on the More drop-down arrow.
To delete a table, first select the entire table. Click the Layout tab under Table Tools. Click Delete in the Rows & Columns section and select Delete Table to delete the table.
Place the cursor in a cell in the table and notice that the Table Tools contextual tab appears in the ribbon. Click Layout > Rows & Columns > Delete > Delete Table. Doing this removes the table from your document. Another way to delete a table is to first select it and then delete it.
To remove a table but keep data and formatting, go to the Design tab Tools group, and click Convert to Range. Or, right-click anywhere within the table, and select Table > Convert to Range.
On a worksheet, select the cell or range of cells that you want to remove a border from. To cancel a selection of cells, click any cell on the worksheet. On the Home tab, in the Font group, click the arrow next to Borders, and then click No Border. --OR--
