Go to the item's ResearchGate page by clicking on its title. Click on the blue arrow at the top right-hand side of the page and select Edit from the drop-down list. Make the necessary changes. Click Save.
Go to your project page. Once there, click on the blue arrow next to Add update. Select Edit project details from the drop-down menu. Edit your details and then click Save.
Select Add project references Select one or more publications from the publications or to Choose from suggestions tab, or search for any publication using the Search publications tab. Once you've selected all the publications you want to add, click the Add references button.
Go to the publication's ResearchGate page by clicking on the title of the publication. Click on the blue arrow on the right-hand side of the page and select Edit from the drop-down list. Make the necessary changes.

Go to your publication's page, by clicking on the title. Click on the arrow to the right of the title and select Edit from the drop-down list. Edit the Authors field as appropriate. Update the author information and click Request changes.
