When it comes to email headers, for desktop screens we recommend a width between 650px to 700px and a height between 90px to 200px. For mobile screens, a width of 350px and a height of up-to 100px is suggested. Many design-savvy marketers are sending emails with full-width headers.
If used as banners, then they should be between 800-1730 px. Similarly, if you use them as newsletter images, you should go as high as 1200 px. Nevertheless, there are no standard email image sizes you need to follow.
On this page Step 1: Choose an email marketing tool built for small businesses. Step 2: Build a signup form to collect emails. Step 3: Get new subscribers and build your mailing list with social media. Step 4: Choose what kind of emails (and series of emails) you want to send. Step 5: Make your emails look pretty—or not.
Remember the 60/40 rule for text-to-image ratio: Try to make your text at least 60% of your email and ensure that images don't take up more than 40% of your content. Remember, a good balance between images and text increases your email's readability (more on this below).
In general, the ideal width for email templates is around 600-800 pixels. This allows for a comfortable reading experience on most devices and ensures that your content is not truncated or cut off on smaller screens.
For an email banner width, the ideal size is 600-700px on desktop, and 320-385px on mobile. For email banner height, you should keep the image under 1728px, but be aware that the section of your email that displays without scrolling 'above the fold' is approx 300-500px.
Emails should be 600-800 pixels maximum width. This will make them behave better within the preview-pane size provided by many clients. Design for simplicity. Use grid-based layers and avoid complicated elements that require HTML floats or positioning.
