How do I password protect a Pages document on a Mac?
Change a password: Choose File > Change Password (from the File menu at the top of your screen). Enter the requested information, then click Change Password.
Remove a password: Choose File > Change Password. Type the old password, then click Remove Password.
How do you encrypt a PDF?
Open the PDF and choose Tools > Protect > Encrypt > Encrypt with Password. If you receive a prompt, click Yes to change the security. Select Require a Password to Open the Document, then type the password in the corresponding field.
