The only thing I really had a problem… The only thing I really had a problem with is that I completed what I thought was a "free" form and then had to sign up for a free trial. The actual program is very useful and helpful and relatively easy to navigate through.

Entry Permits A permit, signed by the entry supervisor, must be posted at all entrances or otherwise made available to entrants before they enter a permit space. The permit must verify that pre-entry preparations outlined in the standard have been completed.
Purpose. The Confined Space Entry Permit is the most essential tool for assuring safety during entry in confined spaces with known hazards or with unknown or potentially hazardous atmospheres. The entry permit process guides the supervisor and workers through a systematic evaluation of the space to be entered.
Entry permit. An entry permit is a document issued by General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDR FA) that allows the foreigners to enter and stay in the UAE legally for a certain period of time. The document may be in a physical or an electronic form.
”Non-permit confined space” means a confined space that does not contain or, with respect to atmospheric hazards, have the potential to contain any hazard capable of causing death or serious physical harm. ... “Rescue service” means the personnel designated to rescue employees from permit spaces.
A confined space is a space with limited entry and egress and not suitable for human inhabitants. An example is the interior of a storage tank, occasionally entered by maintenance workers but not intended for human occupancy.
Now, a permit required confined space will contain all the above, plus one or more of the following: a substance that has the ability to engulf or asphyxiate the entrant. A potentially hazardous atmosphere. Inwardly converging walls within the space or a floor the slopes downward, tapering to a small cross-section.
Examples of confined spaces include underground vaults, tanks, storage bins, manholes, pits, silos and pipelines. According to OSHA, a permit-required confined space is a space that has one or more of the following characteristics: Contains or could contain a hazardous or potentially hazardous atmosphere.
