How do you write the date on paper?
Writing the Date in Full In formal writing, always write the date in full when it is part of a sentence. This will usually involve giving the day of the month, the month, and the year: The meeting will take place on April 21, 2019. Note that the year follows after a comma.
How do you spell out the date?
Date should be spelled out.
Date should be preceded by the day of the week, spelled out.
Day of the week and date should be separated by a comma.
Year is printed on a separate line and may be omitted, if desired.
Month and year should not be separated by a comma.
EX: on Saturday, the fifth of June.
