Great system. A representative had a little bit of a short temper. I was asking questions because I really did not understand. So, I finished my chat and started a new one with someone different.

What do you like best?
PDF Filler was a Game changer for me! All my files are saved as a PDF now, I can sign documents and send back via fax or email to customers. Its also very handy with my touch screen laptop. I use a stylist pen and clients can sign just 1 time and I can use it over the course of all their documents. Clients can come in and sign without dealing with paper and copying. All I need is 1 signature and that's it!!! My whole team loves it, and I have had other Agents ask me what I use, so I have referred several of my friends to PDF FILLER.
What do you dislike?
Wish they had more fonts and color texts. Also it would be great if we could capture a signature and send it in to use. Perhaps a bigger data base for signatures as well, and more documents to be saved. Overall this program is very useful in my line of business. I use it multiple times a day, even on the weekends when necessary.

Easy to use and saves time and money
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
So much less paperwork! Saves time, money, paper and ink. 90% of my documents are saved on my computer. So no more bulky filing cabinets and paper records. Less $ on ink, and paper which is very expensive. Its actually safer to save to a hard drive anyway. Very pleased with everything PDF Filler has to offer my business.

Section 1119(c) states that all communications, negotiations, or settlement discussions by and between participants in the course of a mediation shall remain confidential (emphasis added). Section 1119(a) states that no evidence of anything said during the course of mediation is admissible or subject to discovery.
Under existing federal law evidence of conduct and statements made in compromise negotiations is admissible in subsequent litigation between the parties. ... The purpose of this rule is to encourage settlements which would be discouraged if such evidence were admissible.
Settlement negotiations are not protected from discovery by a settlement-negotiation privilege. Although the Federal Circuit declined to create a settlement-negotiation privilege, it did not hold that settlement negotiations are presumptively discoverable.
Settlement negotiations that encompass the broader interests of the parties can enable them to find common ground beyond the narrow confines of their respective legal positions and create a win-win solution to resolve the dispute. When that happens, all the parties may be reasonably happy with the settlement outcome.
Rule 408 is a rule of evidence that applies in court proceedings. It basically prevents a person from presenting evidence of communications related to offers to compromise claims in order to show liability, invalidity or amount of a disputed claim. The rule reflects two legal principles.
Rule 408 prohibits the use of settlement evidence only when it is offered either (1) to prove or disprove the validity or amount of a disputed claim or (2) to impeach by a prior inconsistent statement. But Rule 408 expressly allows the court to admit settlement-related evidence for another purpose.
Most settlements are confidential. ... Confidentiality is not possible in class action cases in the United States, where all settlements are subject to approval by the court pursuant to Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and counterpart rules adopted in most states.
Code § 1121.) In contrast, settlement conferences themselves are not confidential. Instead, what is confidential are the parties' demands and settlement offers, which cannot be introduced at trial to prove liability under Evidence Code section 1152.
Mediation proceeds based on an understanding that the mediation discussions are confidential. ... Confidentiality means the mediation communications are not disclosed. The mediation privilege is a rule providing that the confidential communications are not admissible in court.
With an out-of-court settlement, both parties have negotiated control over how much a defendant must pay out. In fact, many states encourage settlement by requiring the plaintiff to pay the defendant's attorney fees if the plaintiff wins less at trial than what the defendant offered to settle.
