Extend Break Log: make editing documents online simple

The PDF is a popular file format used for business documents because you can access them from any device. PDFs will appear the same, regardless of whether you open it on an Apple computer, a Microsoft one or use a phone.

The next point is data protection: PDF files are easy to encrypt, so they're risk-free for sharing data. PDF files are not only password-protected, but analytics provided by an editing service allows document owners to identify those who’ve read their documents and track any and all potential breaches in security.

pdfFiller is an online editor that lets you create, modify, sign, and share PDF using just one browser tab. Convert an MS Word file or a Google sheet, start editing its appearance and add some fillable fields to make it a singable document. Forward it to others by fax, email or via sharing link, and get notified when someone opens and completes it.

Use editing features such as typing text, annotating, blacking out and highlighting. Add fillable fields and send for signing. Change a page order. Add images to your PDF and edit its layout. Ask other users to complete the document and request an attachment if needed. Once a document is completed, download it to your device or save it to cloud storage.

Get your documents completed in four simple steps:

01
Browse for your document from the pdfFiller's uploader.
02
Proceed to editing features by clicking the Tools tab. Now you can change the document's content or expand it.
03
Insert additional fields to fill in specific data and put an e-signature.
04
When finished, click Done and proceed to downloading, sending or printing your document.

The service works well and is very convenient, however I was disappointed by the way I was able to complete an entire form but was not advised it was not free until the form was completed after spending a couple hours working on it. Since this is a pay service, the consumer should be advised immediately upon accessing any forms on an internet search. In order to preserve my work, I had no choice but to subscribe. Perhaps you should market a new service that charges by the document. I would have gladly paid for that up front. The service itself works very well.

According to the 14-hour rule, a property-carrying driver may not drive beyond the 14th consecutive hour after coming on duty. ... For both property-carrying and passenger-carrying vehicles, off-duty time does not extend the 14-hour period.
The 14-Hour Rule When a driver comes on duty after taking at least 10 consecutive hours off duty, he has a 14-hour window to complete his driving for the day. Although you cannot drive after the 14th hour, you can be on duty to perform other work-related duties. A violation can only occur while driving.
The driver can then take a second, separate rest period of at least 2 consecutive hours (but less than 10). This period of time can be spent in the sleeper berth, off duty, or sleeper berth and off duty combined. This second break does count as part of the driver's 14 on-duty hours.
”There are no impacts [from personal conveyance] to the 11- or 14-hour limitations for truck drivers, the 10- or 15-hour limitations for bus drivers, the 60/70-hour limitations, the 34-hour restart provisions, or any other on-duty status,” FMCSA pointed out in the guidance.
FMCSA issues fines and penalties as a result of these audits as further leverage to promote highway safety. ... The maximum fine has gone from $11,000 to $16,000 for egregious hours of service violations, for instance, and the maximum hazmat fine has gone up from $50,000 to $75,000.
A driver must have 10 hours off-duty in a day. A driver cannot drive more than 13 hours in a day. A driver cannot drive after 14 hours on-duty in a day.
General Hours of Service Guidelines Each duty period must begin with at least 10 hours off-duty. Drivers may work no more than 60 hours on-duty over seven consecutive days. Drivers may be on duty for up to 14 hours following 10 hours off duty, but they are limited to 11 hours of driving time.
Each duty period lasts 14 hours, which is known as the 14-hour rule. Drivers can drive for up to 11 hours during the duty period. However, after driving for eight hours, the driver must take a break of at least 30 minutes.
Drivers or carriers who violate the hours-of-service rules face serious penalties: Drivers may be placed out of service (shut down) at roadside until the driver has accumulated enough off-duty time to be back in compliance; ... The carrier's safety rating can be downgraded for a pattern of violations; and.
