tough start, but Sam saved the day! SAM/ JULZ WAS WONDERFUL! SUCH A GREAT SUPPORT! After spending hours trying to fix the problem earlier and having no luck with the calling from billing dept. If you want to extend your stay in the United States, you must file a request with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on the Form I-539, Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status before your authorized stay expires.
You submit an application for an extension of stay before the expiration date on your Form I-94. You should file at least 45 days before your authorized stay expires, but USCIS must receive the application at latest by the day your authorized stay expires. You may apply at most 6 months before your I-94 expires.
If you are a US citizen living in the US and you want your parents to stay in the country indefinitely, you can apply for immediate green card for your parents using form I-130. If your parents want to temporarily increase the length of their stay, they can apply for an extension using form I-539.
