I started using PDFfiller 2013
I started using PDFfiller in 2013. Recently, my company started providing a program that was free to me. I canceled my subscription thinking to save some money. It only took 4days to realize I wanted PDFfiller back! This program is so simple and straightforward. I have shared this program with many over the years and they always come back thrilled with it. Lawyers, accountants, I am in real estate and always dealing with leases, riders, applications etc. It is worth the $$!

I highly recommend for applications that require "fill in" sections, majority of us have terrible handwriting and there is nothing more annoying than explaining what you wrote. How do you fill out a notice to quit?
Enter the tenant's full name, and include a note that says, and all other occupants. This will help protect you if a third party claims tenancy. Enter the exact property address. Include the amount of past-due rent. Include a notation stating what day of the month the rent is due, and what the monthly rent is.
Is a notice to quit the same as an eviction notice?
What is an eviction notice? It is a notice from a landlord to a tenant to vacate a certain property. Examples of eviction notices would be Notice to Quit, Notice to Pay or Quit, Notice of Termination, Notice of Lease Violation, Demand for Compliance and Demand for Possession.
Is a notice to vacate the same as an eviction notice?
Basically, a 60-day notice to vacate is simply a notice that a tenant needs to vacate the premises. On the other hand, an eviction is a court order to vacate, usually within a few days (say 3 or 5 days). How do you fight a notice to vacate?
Pay any delinquent rent that is due to the landlord within the allotted time of the notice. Move out of the premises within the allotted time of the notice. File an answer with the judicial court. File a motion to stay with the court.
Can you stop a notice to quit?
Pay Up or Quit In effect, this is a conditional notice. The tenant now has three days to fix the lease violation or move out. So, if the landlord is serving you because you haven't paid the rent, you have three days to pay what you owe. Pay up by the deadline, and the eviction notice is automatically cancelled.
What makes a notice to quit invalid?
The section 21 notice is automatically invalid if your landlord has not protected the tenancy deposit. It must happen in either: My Deposits, The Dispute Service or Deposit Protection Service within 30 days from receiving the deposit. If you have not been provided with the prescribed information, the notice is invalid.
Does notice to quit go on your record?
No, it will not be recorded in the event you are able to cure the default prior to your Court date in Landlord/Tenant Court.
