Click in the document where you want to insert a table. Click the “Insert” tab on the command ribbon and then click “Table” in the Tables group to open the menu. Select the options to insert the table. Enter your text in the table and apply the tools to edit your table.
Open your document and locate the Home tab. Highlight the first heading and select Heading 1. Follow Step 2 to identify all remaining headings in the document. ... In the Index and Tables window, select Table of Contents and choose your format from the menu on the left.
With the table selected, you should be able to Copy it (Edit > Copy, or command-C) or Duplicate it (Edit > Duplicate Selection, or command-D), then Paste the copy or drag the duplicate to where you want it.
Note: You can't rotate a table, chart, or image gallery. Click the object to select it, or select multiple objects. In the Format sidebar, click the Arrangement tab. Drag the Rotate wheel, or enter a degree value in the adjacent field to specify the angle at which you want to rotate the object.
