Being able to use pdffiller has been a lifesaver in so many ways: neatness, conversion of files, time saver, etc. I am a high school English teacher, and I also raise miniature Australian shepherds and quarter horses; with pdffiller, filling out forms online and being able to save them and/or fax them has saved me time, given a more professional look to my papers, and actually improved my productivity in different areas of my work.

Since this is my first time and I have never used one of these before, I am still learning. But so far am happy with it. I just wish it was easier to actually contact a human being to ask questions when I am not sure about something and so have to search and keep trying to find what I want.

Both the surface roughness of the seal and the surface roughness of the mating flange surfaces will affect sealing performance. Surface roughness, also called surface texture or finish, is a trait of any surface. ... In the example below the roughness value is 32 RMS maximum and 16 RMS minimum.
RMS = Root Mean Square in micro-inches. CLA = Center Line average in micro-inches.
a 125 surface finish refers to an average roughness value of 125 micro-inches (0.000125 in) which is the difference between the peaks and valley.
A 125 finish means 125 millionths of an inch or 0.000125”. ... A 125 Ra or RMS finish is what one normally considers a standard machined finish as opposed to a 250 which would be rough. On the other hand 63 would be fine, 32 cannot easily be obtained by machining and has to be ground, 16 absolutely has to be ground, etc.
The standard as machined surface roughness (Ra) is 3.2 m. Surface finish requirements can be increased to 1.6, 0.8 and 0.4 m. Bead blasted parts have a matte finish with a light texture.
Ra value. Surface roughness is a measure of the texture of a surface. It is quantified by the vertical deviations of a real surface from its ideal form. If these deviations are great, the surface is rough, if they are small, the surface is smooth.
