Unclear as to whether or not I can save multiple versions of the fillable form for future editing, which I assume, but it's not intuitive, otherwise I would have rated 5.

This warranty is only valid in the United States and Canada. You may need only simple instructions to correct a problem with your product. Try our website at support.nintendo.com or call our Consumer Assistance Hotline at 1-800-255-3700, rather than going to your retailer.
Warranty Coverage. Nintendo's systems carry a standard 12-month warranty, which is one of the longest standard warranties in the video game industry. Games and accessories sold separately carry a three-month warranty. The warranty covers any manufacturing or workmanship defects and these will be repaired at no charge.
Be it an issue with the Joy-Con, kickstand, or something else, you are covered by Nintendo's limited warranty for 12 months. That's the standard length for any Nintendo console, including the Switch and the Nintendo 3DS line. Games and accessories sold separately carry a three-month warranty.
Nintendo has set up special repair shipping programs with UPS (U.S.) and Percolator (Canada — warranty repairs only) that are available to most residents. Each repair includes: Fast repair service. Systems are usually back to you within 1 1/2 to 2 weeks (U.S.) or 2 to 3 weeks (Canada).
You don't need a receipt. The serial number on your Switch will tell Nintendo whether it's still under warranty. Warranty or not, it still is under one year.

If you buy from the Nintendo shop through the Nintendo Switch, however, there will be no refunds. Nintendo doesn't make it's no refund policy clear in any particularly obvious place on the shop, but according to Nintendo's support site this is impossible.
