I 'm impressed. I had issues with som scanned dok. with Adobe PDF. Adobe couldn't edit PDF but pdf Filler did it. If not, I would have a lost a whole hour work. Maybe more because the scanned doc. are not in my possession anymore. Thanks pdfFiller. I will buy it at the end my trial.

Use at least an 11-point font. Write faxes in a business-letter format when possible. Margins should be one inch on the left and right sides and one and a half inches on the top and bottom, if possible. Single-space your letter, double-spacing between paragraphs.
Write the area code of the fax number. Place the area code in parentheses, though this is not necessary. Write a hyphen or period after the last number in the area code with no spaces before it if you choose not to use parentheses. Write the three-digit prefix of the fax number.
Fax numbers in the US and Canada have the exact same format of a phone number. As a matter of fact they are phone numbers. A 10 digit format will be something like that 212-555-1234. In an eleven digit format add a leading 1 for example: 1-212-555-1234.
All fax numbers look exactly the same as phone numbers. The only difference between the two is that a phone number has a regular telephone attached to it, and a fax number has a fax machine attached to it. Fax machines can also have regular telephones on them, and some numbers double as both phone and fax numbers.
To dial a fax number within the same area code, only the 8-digit number is dialed, for a total of 8 digits. To dial the same fax number from within a different area code, a leading '0' is dialed, then the area code (1 digit), then the eight digit local number, for a total of 10 digits.
Dial a leading '1' when sending a fax only if you would dial a '1' for a regular phone call. As fax works over the phone network, all fax numbers are simply phone numbers and should be dialed the same way as a regular phone call. When calling long distance within the United States and Canada: The leading '1' is added.
Write Recipient's fax number and then a colon. Fill in this line with the correct fax number where you are sending the fax. Write Number of pages of the fax including the fax cover sheet, followed by a colon. Count the number of pages that you are faxing and add one for the fax cover sheet.
Open the Word document to which you want to add the fax cover sheet and press “Ctrl-Enter.” A new blank page is added to your document. Click at the top of the blank page to place the cursor. Click the “Create from File” tab and then click the “Browse” button.
