It is sometimes difficult to understand how to use the different functionalities. Your "how to" guides focus on "push this button, then this" but are not focused on the end product (i.e. " how do you create a XXXX")

Have your permit for a minimum of 6 months before you apply for a license. The provisional permit may not be used until you are enrolled in behind-the-wheel driver training with an instructor or reach age 17 1/2.
*Note: If you are over 17 ½ but under 18 years old, you can get your permit without providing driver education and driver training certificates. As soon as you pass your written test and fulfill these other requirements, you will be issued a California driver's permit.
- If you are at least 17 1/2, you may obtain a permit without driver education or driver training. However, you must bring in the forms to show you have completed driver education and driver training (DL 387, DL 388, DL 388A, OF 237, or OF 238) or wait until you are 18 to get a license.
At 17 and a half, it's honestly more worth it to wait until y No. If you are under the age of 18 then you must obtain a permit. Once you get the permit then you must have it for 6 months or until you turn 18, which ever comes first, and then you may apply for a driver's license.
Under Joshua's Law, eligible Georgia teen drivers 16 and under are required to take a 30-hour driver ed course before applying for their license along with 40 hours of behind-the-wheel training, 6 of which must be at night. Georgia's drivers 17 and older are only required to take the 40-hour behind-the-wheel training.
At age 17, drivers are eligible for an unrestricted license who have held an intermediate license for at least 6 months and completed 12 consecutive months of driving without a moving violation, an at-fault crash (even if no citation is issued), a license suspension, or a violation of the graduated license restrictions
If you are under age 18, you must wait at least 6 months from the date you received your learner permit to schedule your road test.
If you are 18 years of age or older, and you have never held a license issued by any state, U.S. territory or foreign country, you must hold a learner's permit for at least 60 days or show completion of a state-approved driver education program before you can apply for a driver's license.
