Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. Select the server where you want to generate the certificate. Navigate to Server Certificates. Select Create a New Certificate. Enter your CSR details. Select a cryptographic service provider and a bit length. Save the CSR.
Navigate to Server Certificates. In the center menu, click the Server Certificates icon under the Security section near the bottom. Select Create a New Certificate. Enter your CSR details. Generate the Order.
On the development machine (logged in as a user who has been granted permissions to create a code signing certificate), open Microsoft Management Console. From File menu, select Add/Remove Snap-in From Available snap-ins, select Certificates and then click Add.

First, go to the Keychain Access utility. Go to Keychain Access → Configuration Assistant → Request a Certificate from a Certificate Authority Enter an email address and name for the Certificate and select “Saved to disk”. Click “Continue” and select a location for the CSR file.
Open Keychain Access on your Mac (located in Applications/Utilities). Open Preferences and click Certificates. Choose Keychain Access > Certificate Assistant > Request a Certificate From a Certificate Authority. Select the options Saved to disk and Let me specify key pair information and click Continue.
From Microsoft Windows, click Start. In the Search programs and files field, type MMC. Click File > Add/Remove Snap-in. From the list of available snap-ins, select Certificates. Click Add.
In your Windows search feature, enter MMC, and then click it to launch the Microsoft Management Console application. From File, click Add/Remove Snap-in. Click Certificates and then click Add. Select Computer account, and then click Next. Select Local computer, and then click Finish. Click OK.
