Just keep it upright on a sturdy shelf in any climate-controlled, low humidity area, out of direct sunlight. Dust once in a while. It'll be fine. If you're really worried, you could try those clear protective book covers that libraries use.
Get a can of acrylic spray and "LIGHTLY" dust the autograph with the spray many layers until a coating is built up. Hold the can far away and let the fine spray drop onto autograph. And I do me extremely light sprays so that only the acrylic resin and very little of the solvent actually hit the ink.
Use a dry iron (no steam) and keep the iron flat over the signature for at least one minute. Do not rub which could smear the ink, but lift the iron up and down over the signature while applying firm pressure to prevent scorching. If you don't have an iron, toss the signed fabric into the dryer.
quick. TIP: Keep your autograph in a darker room and at no point in the day should your autograph come into any direct light. Keep your autograph in a room that stays predominantly dark so increase the lifespan of your signature! THE #2 REASON YOUR AUTOGRAPH IS FADING IS THE MATERIAL IT IS SIGNED ON!
how to care for a Sharpie-signed shirt. Wait as long as possible before you wash it the first time. Wash only in cool water, if possible, since hot water is much better at washing stains out than cold water is, and avoid bleach. There is still absolutely no guarantee that it won't wash out, but this should help.
