Go Over Columns Resolution: simplify online document editing with pdfFiller

The PDF is a widely used file format used for business records because you can access them from any device. PDF files will always appear the same, regardless of whether you open them on a Mac, a Microsoft one or on smartphones.

Security is another reason why do we would rather use PDF files to store and share sensitive information and documents. PDF files are not only password-protected, but analytics provided by an editing service, which allows document owners to identify those who’ve accessed their documents and track potential breaches in security.

pdfFiller is an online editor that allows to create, edit, sign, and send your PDF files directly from your web browser tab. It is integrated with major CRM software to sign and edit documents from Google Docs or Office 365. Work with the completed document for personal needs or share it with others by any convenient way — you'll get notified when a person opens and completes the form.

Use powerful editing tools such as typing text, annotating, and highlighting. Once a document is completed, download it to your device or save it to cloud storage. Add images to your PDF and edit its layout. Ask your recipient to fill out the fields. Add fillable fields and send documents to sign. Change a template’s page order.

Complete any document with pdfFiller in four steps:

01
Browse for your document with the pdfFiller's uploader.
02
Click the Tools tab to use editing features such as text erasing, annotation, highlighting, etc.
03
Add input fields if you need any: pdfFiller supports text, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdown lists etc.
04
Finish editing by clicking Done and choose what you want to do next with this PDF: save it to your device, print or send via email, fax and sharing link.

Ease of use is great because I am a one-person office, and don't have access to a lot of office machines, so this works good. I just have to figure out how to get it to scan.

What do you like best?
I like that we can search the internet for fillable forms. I also like that we can email and fax right from pdffiller
What do you dislike?
The only issue I have had is when using the iPad or iPhone version. The dates become messed up for some reason. Very simple to fix once I’m back in a computer though.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
This allows me to send insurance documents without having to go through multiple websites.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Doubling column length increases resolution but only by a factor of 1.4. Short column lengths (30-50 mm) will give short run times and low back pressures and are ideal for gradient analyses. Longer columns (250-300 mm) will give greater resolution but with longer analysis times and at a greater cost.
Column length A longer column will produce longer retention times but better separation. Unfortunately, if a component has too long a transit time in the column, there can be a diffusive effect that causes the peak width to broaden.
Step 1: Reduce Column Length Simply shortening the HPLC column reduces separation time; however, resolution will also be reduced due to a decrease in the plate number (available stationary phase surface). In general column length is directly proportional to retention time, column efficiency, and back pressure.
So high boiling point means a long retention time. The solubility in the liquid phase. The more soluble a compound is in the liquid phase, the less time it will spend being carried along by the gas. High solubility in the liquid phase means a high retention time.
The boiling point of a compound is often related to its polarity (see also polarity chapter). The lower the boiling point is, the higher the vapor pressure of the compound and the shorter retention time usually is because the compound will spent more time in the gas phase.
The retention time depends on many factors: analysis conditions, type of column, column dimension, degradation of column, existence of active points such as contamination. And so on. If citing a familiar example, all peaks appear at shorter times when you cut off part of column.
Resolution. The resolution of an elation is a quantitative measure of how well two elation peaks can be differentiated in a chromatographic separation. It is defined as the difference in retention times between the two peaks, divided by the combined widths of the elation peaks.
Resolution and Separation Factor, Retention Factor, Number of Theoretical Plates. ... The separation factor is defined as the ratio of the retention factors (k), as shown in equation (3).

Column efficiency, also known as plate count, is a measure of the dispersion of a peak. Narrow peaks take up less space in the chromatogram and thus allow more peaks to be separated. ... Efficiency is usually explained using the concept of theoretical plates.
