To group worksheets together, press and hold the Ctrl key and click each worksheet you want to group together at the bottom of the Excel window. Grouped worksheets appear with a white background, while unselected worksheets appear in gray.
Separate a single worksheet and tab from the grouped worksheets and tabs. Press the Ctrl key on your computer keyboard and click the tab you want to ungroup once. To ungroup additional tabs, click the tabs desired. When you're finished, release the “Ctrl” key.
To do that, just click on the worksheet tab you want to ungroup while holding down 'Ctrl' ('Command' for Mac). Take note, you can't ungroup the worksheet tab you're currently on.
Begin by clicking on the “Edit Links” button at the top, which displays a list of your linked content. Select the sheets you want to disconnect and click “Break Link.” Doing so will convert all formulas to their calculated numerical value, so it may be a good idea to save a backup -- with links intact -- just in case.
