Very good user friendly software. The only negative was the advertised payment of showing a monthly amount but the company deducted the whole 12 months in one lump sum.

It keeps mixing up my two accounts - - one subscription with an aol email address and one free account with my fire dept. address. I believe it's due to my MSOffice password settings.

Great PDF
Very easy to use! Updating documents quickly is really helpful and saves me time in my practice. It's great to have the app in case I am not in my office when a change is needed.
There are a few glitches. For example, in order to save a document you have to remember to duplicate it. The emailing feature can be glitchy at times.

This is a great tool and is full of features that I really need for editing, exporting, merging and printing documents. I like all of the supported file formats and may use the routing features in the future. The pdfFiller will import huge .pdf files and allows you to save just one or two pages from that file for editing. It offers alot of flexibility and performance features which I appreciate for document management and workflow.

It is really good, I hate forms, who doesn't but this made the chances of my cat getting kicked much smaller.

Accidental annual subscription
I had accidentally signed up for a 1-year subscription and PDFFiller were very very friendly and ended the contract for me after all and refunded my money straight away.... I think any other company would have left me out in the cold and kept my money, because it was obviously my mistake with the forgotten cancellation... really a big thank you and also for the fact that the support took care of it so quickly. I have never experienced anything like this before.Thanks a lot again

What is warranty income?
Warranty expense is the cost that a business expects to or has already incurred for the repair or replacement of goods that it has sold. The total amount of warranty expense is limited by the warranty period that a business typically allows.
How is warranty calculated?
Divide the amount of your actual warranty claims in the most recent year by your total sales in the same year to calculate your warranty claims as a percentage of sales. For example, if you had $1,600 in warranty claims and $80,000 in sales, divide $1,600 by $80,000.
How is warranty expense calculated?
Total number of units sold X Percentage of units that are defective. Units needing repair or replacement X cost per unit to repair or replace. 14 water bottles x $4 per water bottle = $56 cost of inventory.
How do you account for warranty?
Accrue the warranty expense with a debit to the warranty expense account and a credit to the warranty liability account. As actual warranty claims are received, debit the warranty liability account and credit the inventory account for the cost of the replacement parts and products sent to customers.
Is warranty an expense or cogs?
In the strictest definition of the term, this means only materials, equipment, labor to install the job or maintain/fix the equipment, commissions, parking and tolls, permits, freight, warranty, maintenance agreement expense and subcontractor expense are included in cost of goods sold.
When Should warranty expense be recorded?
A product warranty liability and warranty expense should be recorded at the time the product is sold, if it is probable that customers will be making claims under the warranty and the amount can be estimated.
Is a warranty an asset?
At the end of any financial year the amount of the extended warranty that will be used in the next 12 months is classified as a current asset and the amount to be used after 12 months is classified as a long term asset.
Is a warranty capital expenditure?
Warranty costs and service agreement costs are not capitalized if the warranty costs or service agreement costs are listed as separate line items on the purchase orders or invoices. Otherwise, warranty costs and service agreement costs are capitalized with the value of the asset.
