Imbed Watermark Title For Free

thanks for tuning into our Channel this is filmora my name is Jeff and you're watching the help scenes hi guys this episode is all about watermarks and it is brought to you by creative soul TV so shout out to you creative soul you ask is there a way to place my own lower third or logo branding on my videos yes there is so let's get right to it and I'm going to show you how to do that alright so first things first we need to talk about the types of files there are two types of files I'm concerned with for this right now one is a picture we're going to use the logo as a photo one file and that's going to be a PNG we need to create that file type to be a PNG files come from all sorts of places they can be TIFF it can be JPEG they can be bitmap they're going to be a lot of different things so what we need to do is create that one file to be a PNG why PNG good question it's because that the PNG will help me create the background to be all transparent so no matter if it's white or black the background is going to be a transparent file when we bring it into filmora that's the most important thing you can use a lot of programs to do this Mac and PC users alike you can use Adobe Photoshop you can use even as simple as paint and that's what I'm just going to open up the file and create it in paint so let's open up the file that we need to do I've labeled these right here we have my my file types I'm working in this project I have my PNG file already right here but I'm going to open it and show you how to make one and then I have another file which is going to be an MOV file which is an animation logo watermark and I'll show you that a little bit later so first let's work in the filmora logo in paint here we are we brought it into paint so if we saved it as is a JPEG or something it would keep this white background and we don't want that we want that to be all transparent over our video so we're going to make sure we save it as a PNG so we're going up to save as and there it is right there there's PNG here's all the other file types we can save it as but we're just going to do it as this alright sounds good now that we've saved it as a PNG file let's go bring it into filmora and we're going to start our project so let's import this we're going to import the media file there it is right there open that up BAM notice how it's not white anymore it has a black background that is good now we're ready to drop it into our timeline so our timeline has a lot of video on it it's ready to go we need the logo on top of it so how we do that is we add it to the PIP line we're not going to click on the plus symbol right here and add a project because that will create it as a video file we want it to be a pip file or a picture-in-picture so I'm going to drag it down that's the only way to do it for now guys and there it is and we're going to plop it right here in the front Allah now we need to resize it a great rule is to have your logo in the lower thirds or the bottom...
