How do I increase event log size?
Open the Event Viewer (event. MSC). In the left pane, right-click on the target event log and select Properties. Beside Maximum Log Size, enter the maximum size in kilobytes that the event log can grow to. Click OK.
What is the maximum event log size?
The default Windows event log maximum file size is 20 MB, and once it reaches the maximum size, new events will overwrite old events which is the default behavior in any Windows operating systems.
How do I change event viewer settings?
