Very intuitive and easy to use application that provides a high standard product. Much better than other applications on the market that I have tried in the past.

Handy service, wish it was a little cheaper and a little more intuitive. It should be easy to fill in a form over and over but there is no save as, so you end up redoing your work a lot as it saves over it.

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Through settlement, the plaintiff (the person filing the lawsuit) agrees to give up the right to pursue any further legal action in connection with the accident or injury, in exchange for payment of an agreed-upon sum of money from the defendant or an insurance company.
Settlement occurs when an insurer adjuster or a defendant (the person or company you're suing) makes an offer of payment to you, the injured person. ... Some settlements are even reached after trial, while the jury is deliberating, since one or both parties might decide they prefer the “sure thing” of a settlement.
There are some cases which take at least a year from the date of filing the complaint to get to settle, and some may take around six months. So, it is quite unpredictable. However, a personal injury lawsuit can take 2 to 3 years to get settled.
Most contingency fee agreements give the lawyer a percentage of between 33 and 40 percent, but you can always try to negotiate a reduced percentage or alternative agreement. In the majority of cases, a personal injury lawyer will receive 33 percent (or one third) of any settlement or award.
Settlements Made Out of Court Are Private, ... If you settle your claim privately, its results will not be published publicly. If you file a lawsuit and your case has to be decided by a judge and jury, its results will be public record.
Have a Specific Settlement Amount in Mind. ... Do Not Jump at a First Offer. ... Get the Adjuster to Justify a Low Offer. ... Emphasize Emotional Points in Your Favor. ... Wait for a Response. ... Know When To Engage an Attorney. ... Put the Settlement in Writing.
When it comes to collecting the amount owed in a money judgment, you're on your own. Even after you win a lawsuit, you still have to collect the money awarded in the judgment the court won't do it for you. Financially sound individuals or businesses will routinely pay a judgment entered against them.
Ask the Other Side to Pay the Judgment. ... Start with the Easy Assets. ... Move on to the Less Liquid Assets. ... Consider Settling for Less Than Everything Owed. ... Keep Tabs on the Debtor and Consider Hiring an Expert. ... Consider Selling the Debt.
Even after you win a lawsuit, you still have to collect the money awarded in the judgment the court won't do it for you. Financially sound individuals or businesses will routinely pay a judgment entered against them. However, not everyone will be as willing. If necessary, legal ways to force payment exist.
As we mentioned before, most injured victims receive their settlement funds within about six weeks from the end of negotiations. However, additional delays can happen. If your settlement gets delayed extensively, and you're wondering what's going on, you should contact your personal injury lawyer.
