I like how the PDF filler has been easy to work with but I think there should be a separate cost for those of us not using the filler all the time. Its expensive at the moment for me.

Use the Next option to move the X to the vertex immediately following the one that you want to delete. Enter g (Go). Enter x (Exit) to end editing vertices. Press Enter to end the command.
Select the poly line. For path-based objects, double-click the object or select Modify > Edit [Object] to access the path in editing mode. Right-click (Windows) or Ctrl-click (Mac) on a poly line which contains at least one arc vertex, and select Convert Arc to Radius Poly line from the context menu.
