Ability to add notes to PDFs for my clients. It really does help answer questions for them much faster and help them understand the document better.

I wish I could merge and rearrange documents without it costing more to upgrade to do so. Would also be nice if If could set two password when securing a file. One for client and my master password

Pdffiller suits almost all my needs once I get my files there. If I could have a way of "breaking" my files heavier than 25MB to get there OR if it accepted larger files... it would be perfect!

Fairly easy to navigate
Fairly easy to navigate. Text does not always line up exactly right, but close enough to make the document readable. Overall, very pleased with the service.

I usually use this program during a translation process when I get a request to translate a document in form of PNG or similar. But I believe that this app can still be further enhanced.

What do you like best?
The ability to edit almost any part of a pdf has saved me on countless hours of retyping a document for one minor change. The interface is very easy as well
What do you dislike?
The only improvement I would like to see is the ability to remove sections (cut) and move others into the opening. I may be a novice and this ability does exist, but if it does not, I personally would find it beneficial

I am able to correct sentances, paragraphs or simply small typos. The ability to adjust those without redoing an entire document is an amazing benefit.

How do I enter Section 1256 Contracts?
Enter Net section 1256 contracts loss carried back from and the tax year in column (a), and enter the amount of the loss carried back in column (b). Include on line 1 all capital gains and losses from section 1256 contracts open at the end of your tax year or closed out during the year.
How do I file a 1256 contract on my tax return?
Under normal circumstances, if you buy a stock at $100 per share and hold it for 10 years, you don't have to report any gains or losses until you sell it. With Section 1256 investments, IRS requires you to report actual or would-be gains and losses through the end of the year on Form 6781.
How do I report a futures contract on my tax return?
You will need to use an IRS Form 6781: Gains and Losses From Section 1256 Contracts and Straddles to submit your information for tax purposes. The IRS considers commodities and futures transactions as 1256 Contracts. On the form's line 1, enter your gains and losses from your 1099-B Form.
What is a section 1256 contract?
A Section 1256 contract is a type of investment defined by the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) as a regulated futures contract, foreign currency contract, non-equity option, dealer equity option, or dealer securities futures contract.
How are straddles taxed?
For tax purposes, a straddle is a pair of transactions created by taking two offsetting positions. One of the two positions holds long risk and the other is short. A taxpayer constructs a tax straddle to artificially create taxable losses in order to offset pre-existing gains from unrelated transactions.
How are Section 1256 Contracts Taxed?
Section 1256 contracts have lower 60/40 tax rates, meaning 60% (including day trades) are taxed at the lower long-term capital gains rate, and 40% are taxed at the short-term rate, which is the ordinary tax rate. State tax rates apply. They do not include a long-term rate.
How do I report 1256 contracts on my taxes?
With Section 1256 investments, IRS requires you to report actual or would-be gains and losses through the end of the year on Form 6781.
