Find or View Log Files Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. Double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Internet Services Manager. Select the Website from the list of different served sites in the pane on the left. Right-click the Website, and then point to Properties.
Click Windows Start button > Type event in Search programs and files field. Select Event Viewer. Navigate to Windows Logs > Application, and then find the latest event with Error in the Level column and Application Error in the Source column. Copy the text on the General tab.
Right-click on the Start button and select Control Panel > System & Security and double-click Administrative tools. Double-click Event Viewer. Select the type of logs that you wish to review (ex: Application, System)
To view events: Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Event Viewer. In the console tree, right-click the appropriate log file. A list of events in the log file is displayed in the details' pane of Event Viewer.
