I needed to use the service for an application! It was only needed once. The day I was going to cancel it due to no longer needing the service the money had already come out of my account. Self Attestation can be done simply by affixing your signature on the photocopy of a document. Make sure that the signature is prominent and touching any area of the copied matter. If there are more than one sheets, sign on all the sheets separately. Write the words 'true copy' in order to make it appear authentic.
What is self attested copy for Indian passport?
Per the Consulate General of India, San Francisco: Self attestation means- signing the photocopy of the required documents stating as true copy of the original. In case of minors, documents should be attested by either of the parent.
