Signing an existing PDF document You can sign an existing PDF document from any application of the LibreOffice suite: just go to the File menu, Digital Signatures submenu, click Sign Existing PDF and open the PDF document that you want to sign. LibreOffice Draw opens the document in read-only mode: Click Sign Document.
The concept of the Templates directory is that it allows you to save files of ANY type which can serve as the starting points for creating new files.
Click the File tab, and then click New. Under Available templates, click New from existing. Click a template or a document that is similar to the one that you want to create, and then click Create New. Make the changes you want to the margin settings, page size and orientation, styles, and other formats.
A template is a copy of a virtual machine that you can use to simplify the subsequent, repeated creation of similar virtual machines. Templates capture the configuration of software, configuration of hardware, and the software installed on the virtual machine on which the template is based.
Save a document as a template Open the document. Add, delete, or change any text, graphics, or formatting, and make any other changes that you want to appear in all new documents that you base on the template. On the File menu, click Save As. On the Format pop-up menu, click Word Template (.dotx).
Select Annotate PDF from the File menu and select your PDF file to be signed. Click the Image button in the toolbar (it looks like a silhouette of a person) or press Shift+Ctrl+I (that is "I" for Image). Click on document, and a file browser dialog will open. Select the image of your signature.
Launch uPdf, select the Add an image tool, draw a rectangle around the area where you want the signature to go and select the image file with your signature. A PNG with a transparent background works best. Okular PDF viewer has this built-in with annotations.
Creating a Custom Template (Linux) Create your Linux machine to your desired specifications. Use /usr/local/bin/paperspace-create-template.sh to prepare the machine for Template creation. You must add sudo before the command. i.e. sudo paperspace-create-template.sh . ... The output will look like this:
