After I downloaded the program, I realized the price was going to be $19.99 a month. That seems pretty pricey. I am going to speak with finance and see what converter I can purchase. I am impressed with your application and customer service and will keep it in mind when making a decision.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Cellulose insulation can settle by as much as 20 percent, depending on how it is installed. This could leave gaps in a wall as the insulation compacts vertically, or it could leave space between a floor and the insulation beneath it.
Because the blown-in insulation is aerated while it is installed, some types can settle and lose thickness over time, which typically does not happen with bats of insulation. ... To avoid losing R-value, many homeowners turn to a blown-in fiberglass insulation installer who uses a product that does not settle.
There are a number of advantages to using cellulose insulation over other types: Loose-fill cellulose insulation can settle around and conform to most of the obstructions found in walls and attics.
Fiberglass insulation typically lasts from 30 to 50 years. If you are looking for a longer-term solution that does not require blowing in insulation again, fiberglass is the better choice. You do not need to use as much as you do cellulose, which can affect the cost.
In walls, standard practice is to install cellulose insulation at 3.0 to 3.5 PCF. This process is often called dense packing. It prevents settling in wall cavities. ... When installed properly in accordance with the coverage chart, cellulose insulation will not settle below the intended R-Value.
As a loose-fill insulation, cellulose provides high insulating values, represented by its higher R-value, and it creates a good barrier against air leaks and infiltration. However, like other loose fill insulation, it also has a tendency to settle over time, reducing its R-value and its ability to prevent air movement.
We blow 9 inches to get 8 inches settled, and 12 inches to get 10 inches settled. Most of the settling will occur in the first couple of months, but the cellulose will continue to settle for up to two years.
Cellulose insulation is the most prone to settling and will undergo a 20 percent loss of R-value due to settling. R-value measures the relative effectiveness of insulation per inch. Blown-in insulation made from rock wool or fiberglass typically loses between 2 and 4 percent of its insulating capacity due to settling.
The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors states that spray foam insulation, wrap tape and house wrap insulation can last for more than 80 years. At the same time, cellulose, loose-fill, foam board, loose fill and rock wool insulation can last up to 100 years.
The cellulose settles a few inches in the first few days. This is the most cost-effective method of installation. We recommend a settled depth of 16" or R60. This is where the payoff curve flattens out for insulation.
