Fill it out! Overall, I love when this is available to use for forms I need to fax or email. I love the feature of being able to fill the form out online. Very easy to use and beats having to fill in by hand, scan and send. I am not quite sure how to do this myself and have to ask IT to assist in making the form fillable for me.

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Send a letter saying that you will be breaking your lease. ... Send the letter through registered mail, OR email it to the landlord, and put it in regular mail as well. Keep a copy for your files. Make sure to move out on the date specified, or write another letter with your new move-out date.
A: Unless the lease requires personal service of a notice of termination or a notice to vacate, mailing the notice by U.S. Mail is sufficient. ... You need to mail such a notice at least one full rental period in advance of the time you want the tenant to vacate, and you need to allow at least three days for mail.
Negotiate with your landlord for an early termination of your lease. Any lease can be legally terminated before its end date if both parties agree. ... In some states, paying two months' rent when vacating before the end of the lease term is sufficient to break the lease.
Your name, and the landlord's name and address. The date you're writing the letter. Informing the landlord you're breaking your lease early. The reason why you're breaking your lease. The building and apartment you're vacating. The date by which you're vacating.
Write your name and address at the top, date the letter and write the name and address of the landlord below the date. Begin your letter with a standard greeting, such as Dear Mr. (name of your landlord). End it with a standard closing, such as Sincerely, followed by your signature and then your printed name.
The date of the letter. The name and address of the tenant. A request that the tenant vacate by a specific date. The reason for termination.
There are three types of terminations for cause: pay rent or quit, cure or quit, or an unconditional quit. In most states, when termination is without cause, a landlord must give the tenant either a 30-day or 60-day termination notice.
Look for loopholes in your lease agreement. ... Check for illegal lease terms. ... Prove to your landlord that the situation is out of your control. ... Figure out if your landlord could earn more by letting you leave. ... Make it clear that a lease break would improve the leasing schedule. ... Lay out the alternatives. ... Claim illegal entry.
Break Lease with Advanced Notice Most of the time, a tenant will seek an early termination to a lease or rental agreement because he needs to move to another location, for whatever reason. ... Obviously, he will seek to terminate the lease before it naturally expires.
If the lease allows you to break it early, follow the terms in the lease. For example, if the lease requires you to give 30 days' notice and pay a fee of one month's rent, then give the landlord 30 days' written notice, pay the fee, and make sure you're out of the apartment within the 30 days.
