What do you like best? I subscribed to pdfFiller because a vendor sent me a pdfFiller form document that I needed to print. I canceled within the 30 day free trial period before my company card was charged. The cancelation was easy and the PDFfiller customer support desk was very responsive and professional in explaining a small temporary charge to my card. I likely will end up a customer. What do you dislike? There was nothing to dislike in my experience with pdfFiller. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you? You are making this review process too tedious. I cannot type a novel. It seems like a very professional, well-run company and good product.

Running Records allow you to document progress over time when an initial or baseline record is compared to a more recent one. To take a Running Record, sit beside a child as he or she reads a selected portion of the text aloud in a natural and relaxed environment.
Calculate the Percent of Accuracy for a record by subtracting the total number of errors made from the number of running words in the text. The answer will then be divided by the number of running words.

Calculate percent accuracy: number of words read correctly divided by total number of words. ... Convert the time it took to read the passage to seconds.
Calculating Self-Correction Rate: Take the number of errors and add the number of self-corrections and divide it by the number of self-corrections. The Self-Correction Rate is: 1: 2.25 or 1:2 So, the child self-corrects 1 word in every 2 errors.
If an entire line or sentence is omitted, each word is counted as an error. If an entire page is omitted, no errors are counted. The number of words on the page should be deducted from the running word total.
Running records are taken most often at the earlier stages of reading. Children who are not progressing at the expected rate should be assessed even more frequently than the schedule suggested below. Early Emergent readers (Levels AA through C)--every 2 to 4 weeks.
They are not timed But if you have a child who is struggling to get through the story, they are obviously reading a level that is too hard. Stop, and go to a lower level. Remember, you are only required to have them read 100 words to have a complete running record.
